How does Áillun handle the situation with her family?
She either: -
- Holds a grudge against her family because they’re in this situation, while she ignores the bullies or try to avoid them. This will make her the silent girl who keeps to herself at school, not talking to anyone. When she gets home she fights with her family and spends the rest of the day alone in her room alone.
- Or she supports her family fully and hits the bullies back then they make fun of her. She also fights with her discriminating teachers. This will make her the mean and angry girl who everyone at school is afraid of (but they still love to make fun of her).
I like both of the alternatives, and I think I’m gonna go for a mix of these two. I’m thinking she fights with both the school bullies and teachers (being a bully herself) and with her family when she gets home.
She believes in the same as her family and loves them, but their situation with everyone and her school problems are psyching her out. This kind of reminds me of myself when I was younger.
So she’s the mean girl and a bully at school, at the same time she’s very unsure of herself. She is vulnerable and tries to mask it up by being mean. She’s in the middle of a teenage crisis.
